Stretch Film

Stretch Film is a highly elastic LLDPE packaging film that wraps tightly around pallets and loads, applying constant holding force to keep products stable and protected throughout handling, storage, and transport.

Material & Structure

Stretch Film is produced from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), a polymer prized for its high elongation, puncture resistance, and natural cling. Most of our stretch film is co-extruded in three layers, each playing a different role in how the roll performs on the pallet.

A tacky cling layer grips the load and seals to itself on each pass, a core layer supplies tensile strength and puncture resistance, and a slip release layer lets the roll unwind smoothly without sticking to itself. This structure is what allows the film to stretch well beyond its original length and hold that tension through handling, storage, and transport.

Key Benefits

Load Stabilization

High Load Containment

Stretches well beyond its original length and holds that tension, keeping palletized loads stable through stacking, handling, and transport.

Lightweight Film

Lightweight & Cost-Efficient

A thin, high-yield film that covers more pallets per kilogram, reducing material costs and packaging waste versus heavier wrapping methods.

Versatile Application

Versatile Across Industries

Suitable for palletizing cartons, bagged goods, building materials, and irregular loads across logistics, manufacturing, and retail distribution.

Moisture Resistance

Weather & Moisture Resistant

Forms a protective barrier against dust, moisture, and handling damage during storage and outdoor transport.

Recyclable Film

Recyclable & Sustainable

Made from recyclable LLDPE, with downgauged formulations available that use less material per roll without sacrificing holding force.

Applications

  • Protecting metal and machined parts from scratches and moisture.
  • Stabilizing irregular or oversized industrial loads.

Construction Materials

  • Wrapping bricks, tiles, and bagged cement on shipping pallets.
  • Bundling pipes, rebar, and lumber for site delivery.
  • Protecting building materials from rain and dust during storage.
  • Securing loads on flatbed trucks for site transport.

Retail & Distribution

  • Consolidating multi-pack retail cartons onto distribution pallets.
  • Protecting boxed inventory in fulfillment centers and warehouses.
  • Wrapping seasonal and promotional display pallets.
  • Reducing pilferage risk with tamper-evident wrapping.

Export & Heavy Cargo

  • Wrapping export pallets to withstand long-distance sea and road freight.
  • Stabilizing heavy machinery parts and industrial equipment.
  • Providing extra holding force for high-stack container loads.
  • Meeting export packaging standards for international shipments.

Types of Stretch Film & How They Differ

Not all stretch film performs the same. Gauge, extrusion method, and added treatments change how much holding force, clarity, and cost a roll delivers. Here's how our main variants compare, so you can match the right film to your load.

Hand (Manual) Stretch Film

Narrow rolls designed for handheld dispensers, ideal for low-volume, irregular, or mixed pallets wrapped on the warehouse floor.

Machine (Power) Stretch Film

Wider, higher-tensile rolls built for automatic and semi-automatic wrapping machines on high-volume packaging lines.

Cast Stretch Film

Produced by cast extrusion for a clear, quiet-unwind film with high cling and consistent gauge — our most common general-purpose grade.

Blown Stretch Film

Produced by blown-film extrusion for greater puncture resistance and load-holding force, suited to sharp-edged or heavy industrial loads.

Pre-Stretch Film

Mechanically pre-stretched during production, so less force is needed to wrap each pallet — increasing the number of loads covered per roll.

Colored & Tinted Film

Available in custom colors for brand identification, content concealment, or color-coded sorting across warehouse zones.

Black / Opaque Security Film

Fully opaque film that conceals pallet contents from view, commonly used for high-value goods and sensitive export shipments.

Perforated / Vented Film

Contains small perforations that let trapped moisture and gas escape, suited to produce and other loads that need to breathe.

UV-Resistant Film

Formulated to resist degradation from prolonged sun exposure, for loads stored or shipped outdoors over extended periods.

Stretch Hood Film

A non-wrap alternative — a large elastic hood is stretched and pulled down over the entire pallet from above, sealing it in one motion.

How Stretch Film Is Manufactured

From raw resin to a finished roll, stretch film goes through a precise casting and winding process. Here's a step-by-step look at how we produce it at our facility.

  1. 01

    Resin Blending

LLDPE resin, along with any cling, color, or UV-resistance additives, is blended before being fed into the extruder.

  2. 02

    Cast Film Extrusion

The melted resin is extruded through a flat die and cast onto a chill roll to form a continuous, multi-layer LLDPE film.

  3. 03

    Cooling & Gauge Control

The film is rapidly cooled and its thickness is monitored in real time to hold a consistent gauge across the full width.

  4. 04

    Slitting to Width

The master roll is slit into standard widths (10–300cm) or custom widths to match customer equipment.

  5. 05

    Pre-Stretching & Winding

Film is wound onto cores under controlled tension; pre-stretch grades are mechanically elongated at this stage to boost yield.

  6. 06

    QC & Packing

Rolls are inspected for cling, clarity, and gauge consistency, then packed for shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our stretch film is produced from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), a polymer valued for its high elongation, puncture resistance, and natural cling.

Hand wrap comes in narrower rolls used with a handheld dispenser for low-volume or irregular pallets, while machine wrap is wider and higher-tensile, built for automatic wrapping equipment on high-volume lines.

It depends on load weight and sharpness: lighter, uniform loads can use thinner film around 7–15 microns, while heavier or irregular loads benefit from thicker, higher-gauge film up to 40 microns.

We produce stretch film from 10 to 300cm wide, with roll weights ranging from 0.5 to 60kg depending on width and length, and core sizes of 1, 2, or 3 inches.

Cast film is clearer, quieter to unwind, and more economical for general use, while blown film offers greater puncture resistance and holding force for heavier or sharp-edged loads.

Yes. We supply clear film as standard, with custom colors, tinting, and opaque or black variants available for branding, content concealment, or warehouse color-coding.

Yes. LLDPE stretch film is recyclable through plastic film recycling programs (resin code 4), and we also offer downgauged formulations that reduce material use per roll.

Yes. We manufacture at our Iran facility and support international buyers through our Europe office in Amsterdam, with export-ready packaging and a current production capacity of 1,000 tons per month.
